From Ponte di Legno you start by following the SS 42; after a false plane the incline starts which leads to Passo del Tonale.
The grades are approximately 6-7% and the entire climb is consistent and the segments are not too difficult. The road continues with various bends and straight segments which head towards the woods, and after 10 km they end at Passo del Tonale.
